Sau Sundarbai Manik Adsul Polytechnic

Sau Sundarbai Manik Adsul Polytechnic (SSMAP), Chas, Ahilyanagar was established in 2011. The Institute offers diploma programs affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai in various engineering disciplines.

The Institute offers programs in Mechanical, Computer, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical and Civil Engineering.

The major landmarks in the development of the Institute include ISO 9001:2015 certification, approval by AICTE, and recognition by DTE, Government of Maharashtra.

Our Objective

The objective of the Institute is to produce good entrepreneurs and quality engineers with competence and character. The Institute aims to prepare students to become extraordinary in the present technological scenario of globalization and contribute effectively to the techno-economic and socioeconomic development of the country.

Training & Placement Cell

The Institute is committed to nurturing students as young, bright, dynamic, talented and professional technocrats who can become responsible citizens. The Institute has an active and vibrant Training & Placement Cell that provides job and internship opportunities to Polytechnic students.

The Training & Placement Cell actively focuses on preparing students for various internships and campus placement drives. It provides guidance and support to students throughout the recruitment process and helps them develop the technical, professional and communication skills required by the industry.

Over the past few years, the Institute has organized Mega Placement Drives for students in and around the district. Various companies from Mumbai, Pune, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Ranjangaon and Supa MIDC have participated in recruitment activities.

Industries from other states such as Gujarat and Karnataka have also participated in the recruitment of students, providing them with opportunities beyond the local region.
